The interior of Semper Fi is finished is richly finished in rubbed effect satin varnished teak . Contrasting white high pressure laminates are used in the galley, head area, and the deckhouse, giving Semper Fi and open, fresh feel. Varnished ash ceiling strips line the hull in the forward cabin. The cabin soles throughout are varnished teak and holly. All interior cushions are of Ultra Suade fabric in royal blue, and curtains are of a nautical flag design.
Upon entering the deckhouse through a sliding door to port, there is a cabinet to port for the electrical panels and other battery switches. A wide shelf above is helpful for mounting a TV, lamp or other items. To starboard is a comfortable "L" shaped settee. This converts to a double berth if desired. The fabric is Royal Blue ultra-suade and is in excellent condition. Forward of the settee is the helm station. There is a swivel helm seat that slides aft enough to provide good access through a sliding door to the deck. Intsruments and electronics are well layed out and the visability forward is excellent. The port side of the deckhouse is open, aft, to accomodate perhaps a folding chair or possibly a barrel chair. Forward on the port side is a pedestal "mate" chair with a chart table forward. All side and aft windows open and have screens,
Going down 2 steps, the "U" shaped galley is to port. There is a very open feel to the galley, as it is open above to the deckhouse, and it is finished in white laminates accented by varnished teak trim. A Force 10, 3 burner propane stove with an oven is in the forward section of the counter. Facing outboard, in the center, is a large and small sink combination. An under the counter refrigerator is aft, allowing for excellent couter space above. In a cabinet above this space is a microwave oven and a large storage locker. Sliders outboard of the counter offer storage for dishes and cookware. An opening port allows for good ventilation in addition to the open overhead.
Opposite the galley is a spacious head area. Again finished in white laminates and varnished teak trim, the area is well layed out with a marine toilet forward, vanity with sink amidships, and a separate shower stall with door, aft. An opening port provides good ventilation.
The stateroom is forward, and is closed to the rest of the cabin with a door. To port is a bureau with large drawers. To starboard is a hanging locker. The V-berths are low for ease of entering. They are also wide enough to be comfortable singles, and a filler cushion and board are included, making the berth into a double. There are two opening ports and a large overhead hatch to provide great ventilation. A sky screen over the hatch provides a shade or a screen.
